Hello everyone! I am stopping through today with a quick pattern review! I got the wonderful opportunity to finally sew up a pair of Portlander Pants by New Horizons Designs! I am so excited because at 6 feet tall comfortable long pants are a hot commodity. And these were absolutely perfect!
Now I know what you are thinking! Essence those are crazy long! Don’t worry, I added that length to allow my habit of wearing heeled boots to continue. And with Fall coming up quickly, I am ready to change over my wardrobe.
The Portlander Pants are sized from XXS to 3XL so there is something for everyone. And the yoga waistband is so comfortable you can look like you are wearing dress pants and feel like you are wearing pj pants.
This fabric has about a 30% stretch and that was plenty. The sizing was dead on and easy to figure out. And these came together so quickly with just my sewing machine! I could probably even make them quicker with my serger!
I am already browsing the New Horizons page for a suitable top to match these. Or maybe a top to pair with another pair? Head over and grab a copy of the Portlander Pants here or just browse for whatever you are looking for! And leave me a comment! Have you sewn some of these? What did you think?
Love your Portlanders❤ I just bought them over Labor day weekend and I think I need to sew them up now 😍

The Portlander pants is one of my favorite patterns. I made a pair (I’ve made a few) out of thick french terry and I wear them every evening as lounge pants. Love your florals!
