Hi, guys! You know how much I love posting two days in a row so I am back again with another blog tour! I participated in this tour last year and I had such a blast… why not repeat it again!?! So in the spirit of the upcoming 4th of July holiday… welcome to the Sew Americana 2017 blog tour!
So for this blog tour I decided that Nugget needed a new dress for her first 4th of July in hopes that the weather will let us get outside and celebrate! I was lucky enough to be provided my first choice of dress which is the Baby Molly from Simple Life Pattern Company! If you have not checked out their extensive amount of baby patterns, you don’t know what you are missing! And most of them have a matching girl’s pattern! Molly has a girl’s pattern AND a women’s pattern from Sew Caroline! Wait until I drop a little more weight!
This dress is so adorable! The little boatneck neckline was perfect and the plunging back is perfect for summer! I opted not to use the collar because I intend to make a matching one for Bug and she is bonafide anti-collar!
I loved this fabric mixture and thought it was perfect for patriotic fun!
I choose to make the 0-3 months even though she could probably fit in the smaller size because I am hoping she will get to wear it a few times through the summer. And she is so long I have a feeling I will be lengthening many patterns in the future!
So that is it for me today! But be sure to link up your holiday/patriotic creations! And leave me a comment with your favorite baby patterns! I am still new to baby sewing!
Thank you so much for checking out my post! I am so grateful for your time! And thank you to Simple Life Pattern Company for letting me sew up your beautiful pattern! And as always… thank you to the sponsors, tour organizers, and fellow bloggers! I really enjoy working with all of you!! Please check out my fellow participants! They have some super awesome things to show off! See you soon!!!!

Oh your little squishy one is ADORABLE!! I love that you made her a dress, I think she’s officially the youngest on any of the Sew Americana tours so far! Tell Bug that I”m pretty anti-collar too…so I stand with her on that decision, haha.
