Hello, everyone! Just stopping through quickly to show off a beautiful dress I made for my daughter! Recently we traveled to Chattanooga, TN to attend their first big family reunion. Check us out!!!
And since there was a banquet dinner planned, of course, I had to make her something special to wear! So when I saw that there was a new dress from The Eli Monster I knew my decision was made for me already! The Rivier Dress was just released and is a perfect pattern for a dressy occasion or a casual one!
With a huge size range (18mths to 16) this pattern is going to come in handy! I have the hardest time finding tween patterns and even more struggles finding dresses that cater to the developing young woman! This pattern has darts for the larger sizes to accommodate the tween body! And the option to add a bow or a ruffle on the wrap bodice is perfect for younger girls (or older but Bug is picky).
The skirt is the perfect fullness so that she can still enjoy the twirly without complaining to me that it looks like it is for a baby… sigh… preteens…. And with the pattern being on sale until Saturday, July 22nd, I know this is a must have for girl mommas! So head over to The Eli Monster and grab the Rivier Dress and keep browsing! There are some awesome and unique dresses that you HAVE to see! And you can check out my last EM sew here! Don’t forget to head over to the facebook group for inspiration and to show off your creations!
Love the simplicity of this dress! You can dress it up or dress it down-its perfect for a tween!!!! She’s so lucky to have you-putting those fingers to work!!!

Oh, I love this dress. I’m happy to hear the size ranges. It’s hard to find matching sets for my girls. I will have to check them out.
