EYMM Christmas in July Tour

Hello everyone!  Summer is in full swing so I was more than excited to take a break from swim suits and tank tops to put a little thought into the future.  Hence, welcome to my post for the Christmas in July Tour hosted by Everything Your Mama Made and More!

So my parents are the best grandparents my kids would ever dream of and they love to have a part in Grandma and Papa’s gifts for Christmas.  Last year, I bought the pattern for the Bowl Cozy and Tortilla Warmer by EYMM.  And the kids and I made bowl cozies! But the tortilla warmer portion of the pattern got shoved to the side of the to-do list.  This was the perfect opportunity to try it out.

We have Taco Tuesday or Taco Thursday, or really just tacos with no occasion so the kids are wanting to be more involved in helping prepare meals.  This is a perfect idea.  They can microwave the shells and keep them warm! And these came together super easily and quickly.

 

Honestly, I don’t know how many shells will fit in this but these are the average size taco shells and they fit so I believe burrito shells would fit and plenty of them!  So if you have less than an hour (depending on how intricate your quilting skills are) this is a perfect idea for your home or early planning for those Christmas gifts!
